现任:联合国教科文(UNESCO)世界遗产咨询机构——国际古迹遗址理事会-国际风景园林师联合会文化景观科学委员会(ICOMOS-IFLA International Scientific Committee on CulturalLandscapes, ISCCL)副主席(负责亚太地区)。国际自然保护联盟IUCN世界保护地委员会专家(WCPA)。国际学术期刊Landscape Research(英国)审稿人,国际学术期刊Journal ofCultural Heritage Management and Sustainable Development(英国)顾问编委。住房和城乡建设部世界遗产专家委员会委员。农业部全国休闲农业专家委员会委员。中国风景园林学会理事。《中国园林》编委。

研究方向:1)环境哲学与文化景观理论;2)风景名胜区规划理论与实践; 3)世界遗产文化景观评价、保护与发展;4)世界遗产与可持续旅游; 5)城市历史景观。
