同济大学建筑与城市规划学院景观学系教授、博士生导师、现任系主任。同济大学风景园林学士、硕士，澳大利亚昆士兰理工大学哲学博士。

现任：联合国教科文（UNESCO）世界遗产咨询机构——国际古迹遗址理事会-国际风景园林师联合会文化景观科学委员会（ICOMOS-IFLA International Scientific Committee on CulturalLandscapes， ISCCL）副主席（负责亚太地区）。国际自然保护联盟IUCN世界保护地委员会专家（WCPA）。国际学术期刊Landscape Research（英国）审稿人，国际学术期刊Journal ofCultural Heritage Management and Sustainable Development（英国）顾问编委。住房和城乡建设部世界遗产专家委员会委员。农业部全国休闲农业专家委员会委员。中国风景园林学会理事。《中国园林》编委。

教学课程：《景观规划设计原理》国家级精品课程；《风景区规划原理》（校级精品双语课程）；《遗产保护与发展》研究生课程（上海市来华英语品牌课程）；《环境伦理》研究生课程；《遗产景观》博士生课程。

研究方向：1）环境哲学与文化景观理论；2）风景名胜区规划理论与实践; 3）世界遗产文化景观评价、保护与发展；4）世界遗产与可持续旅游; 5）城市历史景观。
